After discovering her love for creative aesthetics in college studying interior design, Astrid realized how gratifying bringing beauty into other people's lives could be. Originally from the Bay Area in California, she began her career as a hair colorist in San Francisco. After moving to New York City in 2011, Astrid began working at Ion Studio in SoHo and refined her color skills while working with top NYC colorists. Astrid brings a meticulous touch to her work and specializes in natural looking color like effortless dimensional highlights.
