Carlyn started her hairdressing career at a small New Jersey salon, from there she completed a BA in Hair and Makeup for Fashion at London College of Fashion. While in Europe she spent 4 years learning from and working with top names in the industry. From assisting for runway, film, TV and music, to earning a spot working on Guido Palau’s international team, her 10+ years of experience spans far and wide. In 2020 Carlyn returned to New York to further cultivate a deeper understanding of hairdressing through cutting and styling. She specializes in dry cuts, natural texture, and event styling. Carlyn's favorite cut is the classic French Bob, but she has a special place in her heart for men's grooming.
